The Body Shop - Color Crush Lipsticks

My new found love. Color Crush lipsticks are a new addition to my collection.

 

Taking a stroll though The Body Shop, you step in and think body butters/lotions, body scrubs and skincare and not to mention their lip balms but on this particular day, a sales associate approached me and she was very friendly. I would say best customer service yet.  She was helping me choose perfumes and body sprays. Once I decided what I wanted, I cued and paid for my purchase.

 

At that time I noticed the sales associates makeup which was flawless.  Her name is Narcisa, who was very helpful and I asked her, in particular which lipstick she was wearing.  It was a lovely pinkish nude in #325 which has  gold shimmer in it. You could of course use different lip liners and mix colors to adjust the color to your mood or use alone. It's a natural color but looks different on different skin tones and I would say depending on your lip color as well, it may look lighter or darker.

 

 

 

That's when I was introduced to The Body Shops make up line.  It's been there but I just never noticed it. I went back to take a look at the other lip colors and each time I was there, I was inspired by Narcisa's makeup.  Absolutely gorgeous! She used The Body Shops makeup line and used different colors in the lipsticks and the eye shadows.  She told me about the bronzers and blushes that were her favorite too.  I added four more  lip colors to my collection and bought the bronzer as well. ;)  They have a range of creamy and sheer lipsticks in various colors.  They do have other products that I am currently using and I'm loving it. 

 

 

 

I hope The Body Shop adds more lip colors to the line, maybe colors that are trending at the moment (by season) and I'm hoping for matte lipsticks as well as liquid foundations?!  I would be excited to try any of these products.
